Success at NAVA Novice Auctioneer of the Year competition

One of our Network Partners – Nick Girone-Maddocks from Gibbins Richards in Wellington, Somerset, entered the NAVA Novice Auctioneer of the Year competition last Wednesday and was Runner Up.

Congratulations Nick ! A really superb achievement.

He was up against 12 other competitors from across the country and from the different disciplines in our industry – Goods and Chattels, Fine Arts and Livestock as well as other Property Auctioneers, and he really impressed the judges with his style on the rostrum and his knowledge.

Nick has learnt so much over the last 12 months and this is really reflected in the auction business that he is winning for his company. He has consistently produced high quality stock to sell this year and he is reaping the benefits of getting his commission so much quicker as well expanding his professional knowledge which is really setting him apart from the other agents in his town. He is also getting great publicity in the local press and on social media for the properties which he is selling at auction.

So, the hunt is now on for a candidate that we can put forward into next year’s competition which will be held on October 9th at The Oxford Belfry.
